I've had one for my Vivitar 285HV for years. Pearstone still sells them:

It would void your Speedlite's waranty, I'm sure, but it shouldn't be too difficult to swap the Vivitar connector for a Canon CP-E4 connector on one of these adapters. If the output voltages are the same it should work just fine.
