Here are a couple examples of the Leica Digital shooting football. They were shot at 200 ISO, with a 400mm lens.

Very nice indeed, love the color and clarity. IS this the R8 or R9 paired with the DMR back . . . I think thats how it works, is that accurate?

what is the FPS for the DMR? While I feel it is a step back going to manual focus, the dynamic range of the DMR is awesome

The DMR is mounted to my R9. It is supposed to be 2fps. It seems at least that.

Here are a couple more. The shadows seem to have more detail compared to my 1D Mk II. I also had the Canon 400mm f2.8 IS and from f3.5 or so it was as sharp or sharper than the Leica. The Leica is sharper at f2.8 and still gives that 3d look though.

I adjusted the last image. It was a bit light when I posted it.

I also noticed that when you get the focus right, you can see the fine details in the jersey material.

That has always been my guide with the MkII. When I can see the threads or fabric details in the uniforms I know AF is spot-on. :)

The Leica DMR certainly seems to have great color and dynamic range. These images were straight out of the camera, a couple with a touch of color balance adjustment. Fred will not be selling me his Velvia Vision plugin for this camera :-)

I just bought Raw Shooter Premium and though I would share a sample from it.

It seems to be a really fast RAW processor. While it seems to have no problems with my EOS files, I bought it to have an option for the DMR generated DNG files I was finding Adobe Camera a bit slow when processing a bunch of jpegs from the RAW DNG files. Raw Shooter Premium seems to be much faster and has a better set of controls, including curves.

Here is one of my shots from earlier in the thread, but processed in Raw Shooter Premium. Below it is what I posted at the top of this thread.

Imacon's FlexColor, but I didn't spend a lot of time on getting the color balance right when this was posted originally.
