Saturday night I went out to Buck Motorsports Park in Lancaster, PA for the NTPA (National Tractor Pulling Assoc.) event taking place there. These are a few of my favorite shots.
As always, Comments/Criticism welcomed!
Thanks for looking.

Shot #1: Unlimited Modified class
ISO 800, F/2.8, 1/160sec, 221mm - shot is uncropped
While your shots are mostly ok, they all seem a tad on the soft side. I realize you were using a fairly large aperture but even the printing in the stickers is kind of fuzzy. I assume for the head-on shots you were focused on the front of the vehicle. Were you using the 120-300/2.8 listed in your signature?
I see you also have a 1DMkII. I assume that is the camera you were using. Are these shots using AI-Servo and if so, did you take a burst of shots or just a single shot?
Perhaps it's the shutter speed as I see some are in the 125-160th range.

I was using the 1DmkII and the 120-300. The camera was set on AI-Servo, and I was doing combinations of burst and single shots.
I think the fuzziness could be due to a couple of things. Like you mentioned the shutter speeds were probably too low for me, as I have trouble holding the camera steady sometimes, even on a monopod that I was using. Also, the Sigma changes focus when you zoom in or out, and I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it too, as I was zooming between shots without releasing the shutter button all the way
I didn't notice the fuzziness that much till you said something, now I see it.
