Ed, what did you shoot the OM 24 on? My recollection was that the Canon 24 was as sharp or sharper. The Zeiss 35 PC definitely sharper, and the new 17 and 24 Canon T/S are even better. I was frankly disappointed with the OM shift as it was my first pricey alt lens and I sold it at a loss. Wish it had been better. It did have a lot of shift and great build quality. Sigh.....
