I'll be using a 430 II, as key, but thought maybe I could use another transmitter and RPCube to control the old 283 that has been sitting around for 25+ years, too.
Since the ancient 283 doesn't really have CaNikon quench pin support, you have to hack it by tying into the front of it w/ a 3.5mm plug. Someone posted photos of this in the strobist group on flickr...
