I have C1 set up for Focus Mode so I can quickly change between AF-S and AF-C (Eye AF only works with AF-S) and the AEL button set for Eye AF. Center Button set to Standard.

I'm almost always in Wide Area AF, because when the Center Button is set to standard, you can push it to give you immediate AF-S spot in the center.

One more from last week also with 35/1.8. Indoors I'm usually at F2.2 with this lens, because it is noticeably sharper
than at 1.8.

For somebody that doesn't consider the A6000 as his main camera or even that format, you do use that camera quite a bit . Nice images, BTW.

I'm still testing the batch of lenses for review, thus the big push on the a6000. My main kit is the same format though...I shoot Fuji as my primary. I really wanted to bring my Fuji today, but opted for the a6000 to get a few more shots with certain lenses and because it's lighter. I quite like the a6000, and the sigma primes and the Rokinon 12mm are excellent. Some more. First two with Rokinon 12mm, last with Sigma 30.

A few from Paris, France back in 2011 with my then NEX-C3 and Sony 16mm f2.8.
I was very impressed by the quality I was getting in such a small package.
It was better than my Canon 7D which didn't get much use since I got the NEX.

The sun was very intense in the 2nd photo and the sky extremely overexposed/blown out, I thought I wouldn't have any chance recovering it... but I was pleasantly surprised!

The first image is from a recent visit to the Sin City using a Zeiss Touit.

I bought a cheap Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens for $250 and used it with the Metabones on this camera for the second image. That lens is super sharp, even at wide open. I really enjoy this lens on the A6000. Although I considered getting a Sigma 60mm lens but the ability to do some macro made me buy the macro lens instead.

Season of Summer Light
Week 31, Wednesday - Searching for summer light
"When I started this season, the 'Season of Summer Light', I was worried about a good light. Summer being a very bright season I was particularly concerned about hard light and if I would find suitable places for softer light. Lately I've become more interested in 'capturing that sweet summer light in my frames', which means using light as a part of composition and trying to get some feeling of warm and heat in to my images. To me, this change of objective speaks about development and I feel I'm getting more comfortable. I took this particular shot of Aura when we were coming home from the beach one evening. It took me many attempts during four or five days to get it right, so I'm pretty satisfied with result – and to me it captures the feeling of those evenings very nicely. While it's been challenging picture for me, I thought I might as well share 'my recipe' for this kind of picture as it might inspire others as well: [...]"
