All incredible images on the last page and Phillip, wonderful as usual.

Here's one from this morning . . . low light, some street light reflections, handheld with the Minolta 40/2 CLE on the NEX-5N. It was shot at ISO 800 and f/2.8.

Lots of Ginkgo biloba leaves in that photo. How do you like your new little Minolta gem?

I'm excited about what I see so far (just got it the other day). I really like the small size and the sharpness. I need to shoot with it more this weekend but I can see this as my walk around prime on the a7R.

I am really tempted to sell my G45 and replace it with the 2/40 for my A7 which should arrive in 10 or 11 days
I am only worried about the extreme corners, in Makten's images they were lousy at f/5.6.

there were times when 6 or 7 pages were posted a day, now we are down to maybe 1/2 page a day
I hope it will get better when the A7(r) is shipped.

Finally got round to PP my shots from my trip to Istambul in 2012.

It was my first time shooting this much with MF lenses, a lot of OOF shots, but also a lot of fun.

Used NEX-5N and CV15, CV40 (now sold and traded for CV50 1.5), MD50 1.7 and MD28 2.8.

Here are some favourites:

All PPed in Lr4. No side trips to Nik filters, yay!

Thanks for looking!

Great work on these. The PP is spot on. How are you liking your 50/1.5 vs. the 40/1.4? I was tempted to make that switch at one point, but alas the 40/1.4 is close to my heart and I couldn't trade it away.

thanks :-)

I have no idea about the race, I really like nature an I am happy that I can take most of my pictures no more than 3 kilometers from my home, but I am a city boy none the less.

Great stuff over the past couple of pages!

Olympus OM Zuiko 50/1.8 "made in Japan" (from JPG, had to use an old laptop with PS CS3 that wouldn't recognise F3's RAWs):

The 40 is like complicated women, you have to go through all the irrationality to get the most beautiful moments of bliss.

Well, the 50 F1.5 has a more "predictable" rendition, also is a little bit heavier.

I bought because of it's reputation (namely Sean Reid) at a very good price.

I must say that it gets less use than the 40 did because, at that time, I did not have a Fuji-X system.

I use the CV50 mainly for famliy and friends snaps as there is no pressure to get good shots, but, when I nail focus, the portraits are amazing.

Not bad at landscape either.

If there where no issues with the CV15, I would trade my NEX-5n for an A7.
