The 40 is like complicated women, you have to go through all the irrationality to get the most beautiful moments of bliss.
Well, the 50 F1.5 has a more "predictable" rendition, also is a little bit heavier.
I bought because of it's reputation (namely Sean Reid) at a very good price.
I must say that it gets less use than the 40 did because, at that time, I did not have a Fuji-X system.
I use the CV50 mainly for famliy and friends snaps as there is no pressure to get good shots, but, when I nail focus, the portraits are amazing.
Not bad at landscape either.
If there where no issues with the CV15, I would trade my NEX-5n for an A7.
