as it happens, it was originally intended to be a stop for a bus that goes directly to the emergency room. they decided not to use it though, so it is currently a bus stop to which no bus ever comes.

my neighbor is a guerrilla artist, so i'm pretty sure he's responsible for the lichen art on it.

Nex 5n M42 mount Minolta 58mm f/1:2 at f/2 - 1/60 sec. This is my first Nex shot with this lens as the Minolta 58mm 1.2 rear lens element backs up against the 42mm-Nex adapter flange. I just had a friend with a metal lathe widen the flange diameter so the lens element could fully extend back into the adapter. The lens at f/2 had such a narrow depth of field, the downward angle of the shot was the critical element in getting stem and tomato in focus.I don't ever remember working with such a narrow depth of field.
