Is this the US version of the lens or "gray market"? Thanks.

I thought it might be of interest to see two of the pictures I took this evening with this very lens, which arrived today. After picking up my daughter from daycare we went out for a short walk, the light wasn't great so I had to use high ISOs.

The first picture is taken with the 1.7 tele converter, that means at an effective focal length of 500mm. I shot at ISO 5000, f/8.0 ad 1/320 sec. The picture is cropped to a square, but at full image height.

The second picture is without the tele converter. ISO 5000, f/7.0, 1/800 sec. the picture is not cropped.

Both pictures hand held, shot RAW, processed in DxO and Photoshop CS4. I am quite happy with the results and love the new lens. Thanks, Kevin.
