I am selling the "BEAST" from Nikon. It has been well used but just came back from the Nikon SPA with a clean bill of health. The internals have been fully restored, and in perfect working order. There are a few marks on the body itself, mostly rubbing of the finish, a few marks on the hood. Over all exterior I would rate a 8.5-9. Glass and internals a 9.8.
I would like to get $950 shipped OBO as I did just invest a good amount into it from the Nikon SPA.

No reason, just figure its an old lens, I have no problem with the glass, and feel it is a 10, but I'm sure someone out there would find something wrong with it, maybe a spec of dust or something!! No marks at all on the lens, as well no squeaks when focusing. Just being cautious as I don't want someone to say it didn't come as described!!
Might be interested in trading for an older Macbook Pro, 13" or 15". Or a Sony UP DR150 or DR200 Dye-Sub printer. Would prefer a straight sale but have also been looking for these as well.
Still think this is a pretty great deal... Nikon in Melville gave it a nice overhaul. Pretty much brand new on the internals. Never had the squeak before or after. A great lens!!
