Jeff, Ray - thanks
Ray - great series
Ken - I like the aviation shots. The plane in the background to the "double starburst" is a Texan trainer which was known by the RAF and Commonwealth air forces as the "Harvard". They were in service with the SAAF well into the 1980's and possibly early '90's and served as the basic trainer for a few generations of South African pilots. Many a jumbo captain recalls fondly the days of the Harvard. There are a number in private hands that fly regularly.
Thanks for the comments on the 28 -45. I like the way it works on the D200. As with most 28mm (my 3 at least), because of the w/a the focus indicator generally only shows at infinity on most "normal' (non close up) shots.
Rafael, Jeff, Andy, Steve, Reagan, Kevin, lsds - thanks for sharing your excellent work.
For some or other reason, despite being retired and as Ingrid says idle, I don't seem to have time to look and comment as I di before. Also it's been as hot as hell here and very humid which is unusual for Knysna, so maybe that's it.
If I've left anyone out - apologies.
