A delayed Happy New Year to everyone !
My humble contributions, two fireworks with 20mm/2.8 and the 400/5.6 K:
2014 New year Fireworks with Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 AI-S by labecoaves, on Flickr
D600 + Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 AI-S CPU'd supported on a beanbag, ISO 100, f/8 at 20 sec of exposure. ~50% crop because extra areas had no fireworks.
2014 New year Fireworks with Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 K by labecoaves, on Flickr
D7100 + Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 K ai'd + tripod, ISO 100, f/11 at 20 sec of exposure. ~15% cropped. The scene was over 1 km of distance.
I am back to life, family comes home during the holidays and takes over like a storm, really good times, but no photos, I am very deliberate when taking pictures and cannot perform under duress.
Will start commenting with Sir Edward Elgar's pictures, very alive Peter! those were the times!
Jose, one feels present when looking at your fireworks, and right there with the spyder
Eric, I feel guilty that San Diego has been in the 70s all along the holidays, your pictures freeze me!
Jeff, your San Diego sunset at the beach with the 16mm is fantastic!
Samy, what a stained window! The 85mm does it justice.
Ray in Ohio, snow like sand.
Philippe, a Citroen in the dark like old times.
Steve, congrats on the 50-135
Don, the 58mm 1.2 shines
John, what would life be without your sunset panos
Beautiful sunset Ken
Andy, enticing Cairns beach pano, what's the cicada doing in winter? Love the guitar player portrait, very expressive hair
Leighton, I missed your Iced Art.
Ray in Florida, just amazing composition and color
I ended the holidays in Dana Point, 70F.
