Very nice Scott. Looks like a lot of possibilities of different shooting angles at this place. I never did make it to the falls near Covington.

Today I went out with the doggy and the D300 again.

I took my 28 f2,8 Ai, 55 f1,2 S.C and 105 f2,5 P.C. It´s amazing how light a camera bag can be.

Anyways, on to the photos.

Again 28 f2,8 @ f2,8

I'm surprised your farmer's market is still open Leighton… of course, the first snow hasn't hit yet…

Of course, the extra income will help you get to the Df faster… You can tell me how good the focusing screen is…

And yes, we're having autumn as well with end of year roses and colored leaves. Here are a couple of recent shots. The first was taken yesterday with the 55 f/1.2 S.C. AI'd and the last two this afternoon with the 105 f/1.8 AI-s. I'm pleased to report that there is still muscle memory in the fingers of my left hand…

I appreciate those below the equator are enjoying spring even as we're experiencing the pleasure of autumn. What goes around, comes around even if we're talking seasons. Tis a lovely time of the year. Later everyone…

Got out today with my D700 and FM2. Little car show at our local airport. Here are some snaps from the D700. Last one was just a random kid playing a bean bag toss game.

Nice Cobra shots Weasel

I do believe I saw the ghost of Curtis. Looks like his ghostly camera still haunts the bye-ways of California. If you see him give him a friendly flash. Specially if you're using a Df

Why are customers so indecisive Leighton, she should buy both. And she knows it. Great capture.

Steve

Eli (22 months) and Malachi (3 months) are moving fast and making it harder than ever for Daddy to shoot MFNG with any philosophy other than f/8 and be there!

Looking good Alan. From the smiles on your boys' faces it seems you and Nikki are up to the task of parenthood. And yes, snapping the photo with two munchkins is about the best that can be done… they do move fast, as i found trying to shoot Ansel who is a bit over a year old. Hope you're all enjoying autumn in Texas…

Alan, there's absolutely nothing wrong with "f/8 and be there" if the pictures turn out so beautiful like in your example ;-)

Thank you Leighton. Too bad you were not able to get to the falls. I was curious how it looked in the fall.

Georg, looks like the 85 behaves quite nicely on the D7000. Any clearance problems if you were to shift?

Buddy your dog knows it is fall, beautiful photographs. Love the 44 SC on the D300

Georg, beautiful portrait with the 50 SC

Ray, excellent work with the 180mm

Samy, amazing museum detail, contrast and color with the 35mm N, and great colors with the 55mm

Ron, very appealing horse images

Peter, wine goes well with storms

Jim, classic grease can well captured, even a nicely colored rust

Ratty, artistic as always

Socal, did you get the 50-300mm yet?

I can only call your photo a Chin-o-Rama, very impressive, Chin

Colorful mug John

People are great subjects for you Leighton

Steve, very British, I long for the 19th century age of empires

Curtis, Great fall plants

Weasel, love the AC Cobra, where in California. are those the San Bernardinos behind?

I have had extra flashes and umbrellas for a long time, but finally bought the stands. I was very impressed with the results.

Nikkor 5cm S, D3, one SB 900 on the camera and two SB 400 on the umbrellas.
