Rafael, really nice! I like the one in the sun more because of the highlights but the one in the shade has more vibrant colors
Thanks everyone for kind comments on Leighton's house and the paradise birds, I have found many a tractor and house for Leighton but he is not moving to California.
Chin, very focused hitman, very abstract artsy staircase, Red Wings is pure art
Ray, did you decide on 135 or 55?
Interesting flora and fauna Andy
Reagan, the 24mm works really well on DX
We are seeing Cicadas from Andy in Cairns and from Jose in Brazil, not sure if Jose is south of the equator
Nice work with the 180mm Ken
Very impressive mural composition Philippe
Peter, I own a 500mm 8.0 and do not like the OOF, but the last photo is quite good and you cant see it. I also own a 28mm PC and I also don't like it all that much, it works well enough even on a D800, but well enough does not cut it, it is very sharp in the center and may be better in DX
Georg, love the 85mm pics of the ark and the lighthouse, be sure to get a mate and get on it before it is too late
Samy, colorful and translucent windows. Thanks for showing the 35mm 1.4 and the 20mm UD. I would love to own an NC
Hakan, very unique composition of the archaeological arch
Steve, thanks for showing the KC ASA 25, from1995 no less, made me cry, enjoyed the leica tales, would have loved to see their faces. England has such history in their buildings, here we build cheap and tear down
Very sunny picture of your buddy, Buddy - sorry about the separation
Thanks for showing the UD Chuong
Quite a pro portraits Mihai
Great subject and OOF Philipj
Scott, sell the barn, move here
Sharp little falcon Sar, Incredible focusing skills with a TC and the 300mm
Like the Ford museum, particularly the DC3, where was the Tri-Motor?
I have not taken pics all week, just working, went to two peaks to get the sunset, we finally had some clouds, after weeks of totally clear skies, 80 degree weather and 10% humidity.
Had one of my least favourite lenses on, the 28mm 3.5 PC, wanted to test it for landscapes at infinity - the results on the D800 were passable, not great.
I colorized two of these pictures as the sunset was a little dissapointing, would appreciate feedback on the added colors. It is OK if you like it or not like it - but I am interested in your reaction;
