The Df is intriguing, but really only for the D4 sensor in it, I do event photography and the D800 is just too many pixels, too much time processing. Looks pretty, but I would far prefer the D4 sensor in a D800 Body. I love my F and F2s, but a digital camera is a digital camera and the ergonomics of my D3 or D800 are first class for digital photography.
This is Nikon's publicity photo, note the 55 1,2, one of our favourite lenses. Curious that they processed this photo with such harsh contrast

It does look lovely with that lens attached Rafael.
I don't know what to think of this camera. Part of me loves it and part of me wishes it was a little bit more ... or maybe a lot more
I'm hoping it is a success as they might build V2 of it in a year or so and give the people what they want ... including interchangeable VF's etc. Nikon aren't exactly Fuji-like when it comes to listening to customers so I'm not holding my breath.
While I would have rathered the 36MP sensor, I could happily live with 16MP, but too many other features seem crippled on purpose like the D600. The D600 I can understand at it's price point, but the Df is at a whole different price level and I feel it should of had more focus points and a faster shutter at the very least. Probably a better AF system as well.
I will take my 50/1.2 down to my local camera shop and try it out though just to see how it feels. Who knows ... it may feel perfect with these lenses mounted on it.
