Scott, Ray and James - thanks for your kind words on the apples-shot!
Jay, thanks! I just love to use the tilt-feature of the 45 PC-E to create something unreal ;-) Have to add "Visual puzzle" to my vocabulary...

That's a nice glimpse of the clock through those buildings, reminds me of Baltimore
There's nothing like that around here! I did several ^+s to blow it up and enjoy the detail.

Curtis. Looks like I missed your post.

That monochrome view through the trees is fabulous.

Such tonal grades and clarity. Gorgeous.

Thanks for sharing your vision!!!

Cheers Jay

And there is plenty of detail in the original file.

There's me thinking it looked Germanic

I suppose we all have places that look like somewhere else

Thanks

Back to film work, the Ultramax 400, FE2 and 35/2 AI
We were just in there visiting the ornately decorated Khoo Kongsi/clanhouse
Surprised to see another angle of it peering from a side alley

@Curtis, your thread has almost two and a half million views. I think that should make up for missing the 66 666th post

Chin, love the colorful framing of the clanhouse!

A quick shot from this morning - signs of autumn-weather: broken umbrellas can be found in many trashcans.

overprocessed, maybe I re-do this one - D3s, 45 PC-E

Georg, nice framing in this one. Looks like the abbey has some boarded up windows. Too bad as it is a nice old building.

Chin, I like this one for its varied elements. Interesting composition with the different materials, shapes, and finishes. The barbed wire adds an interesting twist to the scene.

Ronny and Scott - thanks for your comments!

Here's another one from today, shot about an hour or so later, had a clear blue sky this time:

church-spire and spring house - Nikon D3s, PC 85/2.8D
full shift up (cropped the lower 1/4 away) and a modest amount of swing or tilt to stretch the DoF between both spires

Thanks folks for the comments on the Baltimore/Walter Arts museum images.

Jay, enjoyable wheat photo. Makes me think of bread and dinner, and it is going to be dinner time soon

Ronny, superb captures of the dragonflies on the green arches! Especially the last one, it seems ready to leap off right at your lens!

Steve, very pleasant clock and Manchester architecture!

Chin, I like the "Chairman says", looking through that red metal gateway.

Georg, I like what you did with the church spire and the 85 PC lens, using shift and tilt at the same time.

This thread is really slowing down, not just Curtis, but there's others that seem to be on hiatus.

Steve I find the angles in your clock photo so very interesting. Excellent composure!
Georg I can't believe how sharp F2 is on your lens. Very nice colors as well.
Chin very nice framing and you just have to love that door in the second photo wow!
