From my trip Downeast (Maine). Taken with the 18 3.5 (exif is incorrect as I forgot to change the setting). Thanks for looking.

The recently serviced 15mm 3.5 ais came back improved, I though you may get a kick of seeing what my office looks like.

Thanks for the welcome back Ray and Georg. I still enjoy the banter on this thread quite a bit. Been distracted quite a bit these last couple of month, only managed one outing with the SLR and MF lenses. A couple pics here to share, nothing too special.

Ray - thanks for the compliment. Love the iris!

Andy - the mantis macro is terrific

Chin - "cigarettes" and "egg crates" are both very good

Matthew - "mushrooms" is excellent. Keep em coming.

Ronny - just another awesome image of the shepherd. Throw the damn ball!

Leighton - I'm flattered to be featured! Thanks.

Ian - lovely job with the lighting

Jay - really good use of the 16mm

Steve - you're making Manchester look so pretty!! It's supposed to be grey, dull and dreary - except when there's a test match at Old Trafford

Philip - the bassist is great

Jay - I prefer the twin on the left How many others can remember the ads that asked "Which twin has the Toni?"

Scott - the wooden chair pic speaks of summer past - excellent. I love the jetty in Maine too.

Ray - good to see you back.

Rafael - love your office and I recognise a lot of the prints too!

Not me, but I've had the extreem good luck not to wind up in his situation. He, for what ever reason, lives in his car, and when you do that you have to keep watch for trouble in all directions. I probably wouldn't last a week out on the streets, and he's been doing this for years.
His horizions are far broader than the ordinary, we talk of art, poetry, wood chopping (I can hardly type after my latest efforts!), music and literature. He is a close to a real Sage as I've ever met.

Can't you see...it is right out of the movie. That curved bridge with Fagan skipping and playing a pica-lo and the boys following along. That is a GREAT locale!

These two are the same girl 30 minutes apart ... I found her through a local studio which had photographed her and liked her style. She agreed to TFP if we could get a car.

BTW here is a chart I posted in another thread showing the capabilities of the Nikon film cameras and I thought you all might like to take a gander. The FA does things that even todays top NIkons can't. I wish my D600 had some of the same features. Sometimes I would love to use my manual lenses in shutter priority in digital. It even matrix meters AI & AIS and self adjusts for lenses over 135mm automatically!

Ray, the entry I like best is FA/G "Sort of"

Brilliant!

Still, it looks like the FA is a very capable camera. I had one in my hands many years ago but preferred the FM form factor.
