Ray, the turkey's look ready to eat.
Sar, That's the sharpest image I have seen coming from the 200 f4. The Boobook is so close it in the AI-S 300/2.8N + PN-11 + TC-16A it is amazing.
Chuong, Wow, you are getting into gimbal head and industrial support territory with the 600mm cannon. It's probably too late to warn you, but shooting birds is like a very addictive drug. Pair that with a MF Nikkor addiction...you may want to look into a local 12 step program. :-)
Leighton, A turkey "ball"? Love all the smiles...
Congrats Ron on the Df.
JD - I know your pain. That 200mm f2 bokeh is magic.
Georg, LED's cycle like flourescent light bulbs. Learned that just recently shooting some cars. The headlights on some were a steady blurred line, while the tail lights had the strobe effect of a dotted line. Has something to do with regulating the flow of electricity.
Jose, great handheld work - I love seeing barbules on the feathers.
Peter, what a gorgeous sky!
I was waking up with some coffee this am - when I saw some ice covered pompous grass waving at me through the window. I thought..."The whole point of an f2 lens is to shoot at f2", and since Ronny is the one that turned me onto this huge hunk of glass...I added a 12mm extension tube in his honor. Well, the bokeh looks awesome to me.
All of these are at f2.0 with Nikkor 135mm f2.0 ai
