Tons of excellent shots guys, as usual.

I am leaving tomorrow for more 4-5 days of fieldwork; apart my 300/2.8 AF-S VR1 + TCs, the 50/1.8 AI + 105/2.5 PC ai'd and the 400/5.6 K ai'd surely will stay in my bag too.

The last shot for next 7 days or so is one of my last trip to a savannah preserve:

Thank you Jeff, Georg, Ray, and Ronnie for the comments.

Another taken with the 18 3.5 ais. Inspired by Ray's Florida images. Mid day light so a polarizer was used.

Whoa...there is some funky DOF here. The 45 PC-E must have an involved learning curve....give yourself some time. I am sure you will master it. I like the art too.

It's an amazing lens, I just have to learn to get more out of it.
This one is from an exhibition displaying the work of an artist couple.

Last time I used a large format camera it was a Cambo 4x5 which makes 4x5 exposures, same as the Linnhoff products.

Both are awesome everlasting pieces of equipment.

Lucky...! I think we need to form a beat up lens crew. Most of my lenses fall into this category; helps me not be afraid to use them.

I'll join in for sure.

My 55 f3.5 Ai is pretty beaten up but produces great images still, I have a 50 f1.4 S.C on the way that looks as if it has seen a lot of action, but for $60 it was hard to resist buying the lens and see what it can do and the 105 f2.5 P.C I bought a while ago has some battle damage and a scuff on the rear element, none of which preventing it from being crazy sharp.

The 105 P.C lens replaced my 105 AF-S as main fish portrait lens. It does a great job of rendering perfectly sharp photos of fish, through glass up to 10mm strength when using a few speedlights above the fank.

I also aquired a 55 f1.2 S.C. I completely forgot setting up a snipe for the auction and was a bit irritated when ebay told me I won an auction. I guess the irritation will pass when I receive the lens though

The reason for me not posting or reading along is an apparent defect in the cable that should provide an internet connection to my new apartment. I try to follow this thread on my phone but image resolution is so poor that often I decide it'd be better to catch up as soon as the cable is fixed. Seems to take forever though so I prefer to go out and take pictures for the time being. Even my 200-600 f9.5 has seen some use over the past weeks.

Scott - well inspired. Beautiful lake.

James - looks like you're hankering after winter lovely image

Sam - nice group

Picman - the results look fine to my eye - maybe the subject matter is a bit dull?? My 2c

Peter - very good pano
