Shooting my Bow and arrow and my 20 f4!!!looks like the bow is right on, still working on the lens, had a strange thing happen to my d600. When i put an Af lens back on all I got was an ERR message, could I have meddled up the AF system with mf glass?

Been in Lurker mode, outstanding shots as always All. Nice bug and flower shots, love the space center pics. I want to start shooting my 16 2.8!
Need to shoot your bow with your camera now, just don't shoot your camera with your bow . Haven't shot my bows for three or four years now.

Thanks all,
JD

Andy - was it an AF-D lens? Did you lock the aperture to the smallest?

Thanks everyone, I've been rather pleased with the outcome from film so far.
The workflow is also a bit easier since I don't sharpen.
Dean, if you can get the opportunity, Penang is an amazing place to visit
Very tourist-friendly, great food, and the core old quarters are very walkable, loads of photo opportunities

Fyi, the woman typically wears yellow-rimmed goggles, protects the eyes from the smoke I suppose
I once knew this seller, my childhood supper place for years - the man had vision problems when he grew old, job hazard from facing he smoky wok daily
Forbade his kids from continuing the business, sigh
In an odd coincidence, that stall is famous for fried flat noodles with egg ... and Ron posted right after that

Found this scene to be amusing
The juxtaposition between woman on chair and the come-hither one in the poster
The machine looked a japanese mecha discard

Just sold my 50/1.2 AIS to tanpatnode (Tanner) - he's in high school and just picked up a nice condition D600 to use it with.

Hopefully he'll participate in this thread. I also let him gander at my 200/4 AIS, 135/2 AIS, 45/2.8P, and 16/3.5 AI to let him know there is a whole lot of great MF glass out there.

Though sad to see the 50/1.2 go, the circle of lens life continues as the old has been passed on to the new. I'm sure he'll take some great images with it.

Tanner is the first FM'er I've met in person, though there seems to be a fair number of us here in Seattle.

I saw you posting about letting go of that lens, I think it may have been an older thread too and was VERY tempted to ask if you were ready to let it go. Glad it went to a fellow FM'er! Also, saw the kendall katwalk photos and MUST do that hike, hopefully before winter sets in and I can't do the katwalk. Anyways, rambling, love the photos!

Hey Dustin - Welcome to FM. Another FM-er almost bought it, but backed out. Tanner was at the right place at the right time and didn't live too far away.
Glad you enjoyed the Kendall Katwalk - hopefully some good fall weather will appear before the snow makes it's appearance and you'll get up there.
Looking forward to your photos!

Scott, you've posted some really nice images lately. Love the door.

Andy, the composition of the second arrow shot is very cool.

Americo, love the last "weird" one; a very nice look.

duahau02, beautiful work!

Leighton, I really like the abstract with the 180/2.8.

Peter, love the Mont Blanc shot!

Steve, terrific "salad" colors.

Jose, lovely Jacaranda flowers. Have a great trip.

Georg, very nice shot from the exhibit.

Ray, I've really enjoyed your shots from Kennedy.

Chin, "transmogrification" is a crack up!

This is a very nice photo! I seriously do try as hard as possible to produce something semi decent at the least, but most of the times, I end up with what I confess, is something kind of embarrassing! i still post it however, but the fact still leaves me feeling uncomfortable! My goal usually is to try and attempt still art, or even something remotely visually astounding! I don't want to "sing the sorrow" very much, but I get very disconcerted at times regarding photography, that I often want to just quit!
