Something a little different from the Space Center. Going from the second floor to the first was this beautifully lighted down ramp. The color was phenomenal so I grabbed a shot using the 16mm 3.5. I wasn't quite sure how to edit this photo so it is SOOC

Well seen Ray! I don't think it needs a thing.

Thank you Leighton. The Space Center was such a fun place to photograph. Everytime you turn around there was something else that screamed "take my picture". I am so glad that I took the 16mm 3.5. It was the perfect lens to get everything in the photo. For your information Leighton I shot all of these photos in "RAW" I did not want to miss any of the D600's dynamic range. Wow You were right again!

Well, I for one have been impressed with your space center images. About shooting RAW, I have found that the D600 sensor is so good that sometimes even the SOOC RAW images don't need anything. As evidenced by your latest shot. Again, I love it.

+1
Wouldn't have thought of the 16mm for a shot like that - but perfect. Great colour.

Ray, as a simple mind I really enjoy the red hallway ;-) It's a great shot, well spotted and captured.

Ronny, the mushroom- and leaf-shots are excellent!

Chin, your jumping dogs remind me of the covershot of "Odelay" from Beck. Love this cover, and the tunes behind it.

John, your panos are always 1st rate. Still have to try the 16/3.5 for single-row panoramas.

Peter from Knysna, welcome back! Glaciers are fantastic subjects, I hope to try myself sometimes on those.

Leighton, your images taken with the 180 are most of the time my favorites among your market-shots. I like especially the bass-player (wish her hands were completely within the frame). The weed looks great too.

Samy, love the mural-shots! The B&W from the cemetery is very nice too.

Steve, love the easy-going street-musicians!

Americo, congrats to your 28/2.8! To check a lens for sharpness it's probably best to shoot something plane (the infamous brickwall-test).

Ronny - Love the blue of the flower.

Peter - Welcome back!

Georg - Thank you. Funny, I didn't even notice the hands, but you're right, would have been better with them in the frame.

I've shot a bit less with MF-Nikkor's the last weeks for several reasons, anyway, here's a shot from today:

a streetcar from 1926, taken with 20/3.5 Ais on a D3s, I'm not really happy with the framing and conversion, but like the drivers friendly face ;-)
Some trivia about this street-car for those who are interested: it was upgraded from original 2x26kilowatts to 2x40kw and is now (since 1944) equipped with 2x50kw motors. It's available for "charter" in the warmer months.

Leighton, sorry, you didn't asked for critique, I was typing a bit too fast ;-) I'm a bit obsessed with cut-off bodyparts in photography ;-)
