Very fascinating! I have so many questions.
They don't fly away?
Oh the wonderful macro opportunities
I wonder how they do in the heat too
Are those gourds in #4? I may have seen larger ones before, at least 6inches tall
Never seen them so small, are they for keeping insects within?

I can't quite imagine how loud the katydid sounds are
No video function on your FM2? *cough cough*

Jorge - love the portrait

Ray - the entire landscape series, colour and B&W, is terrific and seems to be giving you a whole new range

Bert - the action pics are really dynamic

Georg - harbour scenes are very good and very different too!

Steve - love is - both are tops and incongruous

Chuong - she's gorgeous

Samy - beautiful flowers

Leighton -

Mark - nice shellbursts

Tom - I love the "insect market" shots (even the "alien" ones )

Thank you Bert
Chin I wouldn't get in that water on a bet With all of the rain the stream and marsh is quite high. I think that's why the man had two walking sticks. I have seen gators on that path
Samy let know when you are coming and if we are close we will get together. It would great to meet you. Your second flower shot is wonderful!
Leighton, thank you and as the quote goes "There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." Ansel Adams
Thank you Ron
Tom very interesting shots. I am sure I would not want to buy bugs
Mark I really love the second fireworks shot.

Thank you Peter. You are correct I have really been enjoying myself

I tried to use the 28 3.5 PC as I believe it should be used today and took a mixture of images. Exif is meaningless so I won't post it.

Hey Guys, I hate to pimp these here, but if anyone is interested these two are for sale and need to go. I have another medical bill that needs paid. They go to Ebay this weekend if not bought.

Great shots Peter and the church image is super nice. It's kinda nice using a tripod isn't it?

Bert, really enjoyed the tussle between Fellaini and Tevez! Must have been a fun game, and quite a feat to photograph with a manual lens.

Philippe, exquisite scenery from your trip!

Dylan, your latest street photography was excellent as usual.

thx Samy,

It was a fun game, and it gave me a whole new respect for sportsfotografers, especially those in the pre- AF days.

Thanks Ray - it is but mine's a Manfrotto aluminium with a 3way head which is quite heavy - I bought it to use with my Sigma 50-500 which is a seriously heavy piece of glass so I don't mind toting it too much!

Tom I was so intrigued by the insects that I didn't look at the deatil in the colour picture. Quite awesome reflections. Do you go along with the view that digital has now caught up and passed film?

Quick shot from the past weekend. 80-200/4.5 with a full stack of Vivitar Extension tubes (68mm I believe).

_DSC9272 by Kevin.Woodard, on Flickr

I did an audit of my lens use and I was rather surprised. I use the Series E 50/1.8 the most, followed closely by the 80-200/4.5 (extension tubes have boosted its usage dramatically). All the rest are a LOT less used. The up and comer is the 28/3.5. I wish I had wider though...
