Philippe, thanks for continuing to share, love all of it, the villages, the antique shop - so lucky to be French!

Ray Ohio, just stunning mist over the Ohio river?

Alan, great portrait

Laura, fantastic aviation museum photos, hope you did well on your finals, the Elektra B&W is just evoking & stunning

Sunny Ray, the background on your 300mm photos is just melted away, the Azalea colors are delicate and pleasing

Scott, quite a farm house

Chris you, unique view of the lighthouse

Jose, different bokeh in that large red flower

Peter, haunting and beautiful Manzanar photos

Scott Great use of the SC

Ronny, I envy the 135mm 2 and your ability to use it

Chuong the red flower on green is incredible

Samy, do a whole goose panorama

Mark, love is in the air of Verona

Bill what a family and what a capture

Jeff, phantoms of the ocean, we should get together here in San Diego for a shoot

Leighton put the screws on me to post some nikki pics - so I've bolted it to the camera to stop me using anything else for the next week or so.

Excellent series Ben, and beautiful flowers pictures in the last few pages.

I would like to share the following with you.

A few pages ago Curtis posted some nice pictures of very tall trees, they should be "Sequoia sempervirens" (California redwood), taken at Muir Woods Park.

Another kind of Sequoia, "Sequoiadendron giganteum" (giant sequoia, giant redwood, Sierra redwood, or Wellingtonia), has been imported in Europe and Italy around the end of XIX century, and some of the first trees imported are still alive.

I want to show you one of them, I hadn't to travel a lot to photograph it, as it is in my mother garden.

It was about 37m (it should have been one of the tallest in Italy based on a quick research on the net) but about 20 years ago the top was hit by a lightning and a few meter dried out soon.

Some experts suggested us that cutting the dried top would have increased the survival possibility, so we had the dried part cut.

The tree not only survived, but some years later a new top showed up, not a branch acting like a top, that is quite usual, but a real new and blooming top.

Sorry for the trash can in the shot but it was just a quick candid. The puppies wanted the water bowl and believe it or not he let them have it. A very gentle giant. The blue collar is Cooper who now is ruling our house. All with the 55micro

Quick one from a large number of images I took this morning. Tired of sunsets, so I got out of bed before sunrise and got to my spot. Saw what appeared to be an Orca in the water, but it was too fast for me to grab with my setup.
