I ashamedly admit that I have not had time to give praise to any of the great work that has been going on the last few weeks or months. It may be just me, but it certainly seems the quality of the images lately (not mine for sure) has really been taken it up a notch.

Fantastic stuff you all!

My wife and I recently went up to Montana to shoot a wedding. Unfortunately, they canceled it the day of. That left us with a couple of extra days to go exploring, so we headed down to Yellowstone for a visit. Unfortunately, I only took a few MF shots, since I was test driving the 14-24mm 2.8. Here is a 5 shot pano on the way to the West entrance.

Couldn't have said it better myself, John!

Ben, fantastic work with both the 200/2 and the 55/3.5 Micro! The 55/3.5 Micro is in my opinion the best bang for the buck in the MF-Nikkor line-up and your fine pictures are a nice proof for this theory ;-)

Kevin, I like both shots with your 35/2.8, glad to see that this lens works so well for you.

Jorge, another excellent portrait with the 50/1.2!

Ray, enjoy your vacation!

Scott, the Buechner will probably end as a massive mountain of scrap-metal. This is not official, but most likely.
This ship was built in Belgium and used as a "Congo-Boat". Later it was bought by an East-German shipping company and used as training vessel (lotsa East-German sailors have learned their skills on this ship).
Belgian ex-sailors tried to get the ship to make it a museum, but their plans didn't worked out.

Wow, Tony, excellent pano! Montana is called "Big Sky", right? Your image does the nick-name justice (sorry for my lousy English). Nice to hear/read from you again.

great portrait with the 1.2 Jorge, and on film, too!

Really need to get my F3 out of the closet and shoot the frozen E6 rolls that have been in my freezer for over a decade.

I totally agree with you!
But Germany has an opportunity for redemption : just have to get a few Dassault Rafale instead of the lousy Eurofighters.....

Wonderful capture Leighton... I imagine that will end up on a website pretty soon. A friend of mine was trying to put together a cover for a CD on the theme of "what can I give" and we went searching for a photo to use. Yours would have been PERFECT. This is what he found...

A few more from the 400/5.6 ED AI. I did not have my big tripod with me so I was struggling with shutter speed, subject motion, and vibration, but I pulled a few good images out of the evening.

Loved this one John!

Thank you! I try to steal a lot of your ideas when I shoot and since you use a D7000 from time to time, it helps with my confidence a lot.
