Ray (from Ohio), I like the delicate colors and tones of your free-lensed shot.

Leighton, very nice work with the fast 50 (good luck for your WA-entry, I love it). Great focus and B&W on the tall-tale-tail-gate-shot

Philippe, as always beautiful and unique work! The framing is exquisite.

Philippe, thank you for your comment on the dog!

Leighton, is it ^Chinese leek/chives? It looks tasty for sure!

From a short walk in the garden (it's heavily overcast here, not exactly stimulating light):

Thanks Georg, actually they're Green Onion tops.

Love the tulip with a twist. It's overcast and rainy here at the moment too. Perfect light for flower photography.

I finally got time to get on here and go through about 20 pages. Amazing photos from all. My time is 24-7 with "Anderson Cooper". Kind of an experiment actually. Always was working when I got a new puppy and now with retirement I have the time to spend with him and it has really paid off. 10wks old Friday and he now rockets through the house to the door to go out and do his thing in the yard. A pic I took Sat with the 75-150 E lens

Georg, the 24/2 master, strikes again!

Ronny and Georg, nice flowers.

Some 10 days ago a colleague here at university ask me to take some pictures of epiphytes. He is thinking of a future book on the epiphytes of the São Paulo University campus.
For the first "session" I opted for the light weight 75-150/3.5 E.

Not sure what a focusing ring is - other than the lens reversal adapter, I used the old manual Nikon K1 through K5 tube set. all or some (on the 20mm) of them between lens reversal ring (52mm to Nikon F mount, $4.99 ebay) and achieved focus by moving the camera on a focus rail. The focus on the lens seems to be useless when you are reversing it. I left it at infinity.

When reversing the 20mm, I got a lot of spots on the master bug image - either in the lens and it gets revealed because of the reversal, or the sensor is oiled up again (just wet cleaned it for the 4th time in 2000 shots).

Classic shot very much in your style Philippe. I don't comment on all of the photos you post, but you consistently share outstanding work such as this shot. The one of the rose window a few pages back is another stunner. You have a great eye for composition and both your camera work and post processing are first rate. Always a delight to see your work appear on the thread. And it is sweet seeing how you take advantage of the modest four lens kit of MF Nikkors... they all sparkle in your hands... 28, 50, 85, 180...

Oops, I meant "focusing rail"; what make did you use? Mine is a generic not very good with some too loose controls.
Thanks for the details on your setup.
