Scott, you might be far enough north that you can see them tonight, providing your not under clouds. Boston web site said it was visible in New England too.

These are very nice Mike. We do not see anything like this here in the lower 48, at least not around here.

p.2685 #5 · Manual Focus Nikon Glass

Took Nikki down to LA and Venice with my friend Spencer this weekend. I had never been to this part of LA and I hadn't been to Venice since I was a kid. The weather in LA was perfect, but Venice was socked in with fog, which still made for some interesting shots. This first part is LA and the Second one will be the Venice stuff.

St. Patrick's Day party at the local watering hole. I got to try the D600 in low lights. I was impressed with the handling. Here's a few shots with the 35mm 1.4 & 85mm 1.4

Mike - these are absolutely amazing. Something for the bucket list although we're closer to the Antartic here - maybe one day I'll get 2 in 1 - penguins and the aurora australis!

Tony - excellent series - what a lucky girl Nikki has been!

Ray - pub shots are great. I think the real advantage of the newere sensors (apart from printing) is the extraordinary low light performance. Can see you're enjoying it.

We were having a campfire one October evening some years ago when we saw the AB. We couldn't believe we saw it this far south, although it was nowhere near as vibrant as Mike's.
