Any issues with image quality? how's the IQ at f/1.8-f/2.2? What about focusing at infinity?

I am in need of a small wide-angle lens for my 7D...this is very tempting.

No issues with image quality, this was the best of two copies. It focuses fine...I've never had issues, anyway, infinity or otherwise.

The IQ is pretty good wide-open. If you want to keep FF compatibility and don't wanna spend $1000, this is the best there is (I've also had the 35/2). Otherwise the Sigma 30 beats it, AF issues aside.

This is a fantastic little lens, AF is speedy and accurate and my 28 is nice and sharp wide open.
