Wow. You are all getting mft to 'pop' wayyyyyy more than I can..I clearly need to learn better development. I have been completely unable to get anywhere near the colors present in this thread from my gf1...and on top of it I feel like the raws fall apart very fast compared to my x1. This is clearly user error.

Thanks for putting me in my place thread!

I felt epl1 jpgs had that sort of great punch (which while not realistic looked great) but I found the shutter speed limitation to be an issue here in az, as I like to shoot the 20 wide open. I've been trying to find lr profiles to help with gf1 raw development. I'm newish to photography but even more to raw development..maybe a year in post processing studying...these shots are a real eye opener.

Sorry for the hijacking ramble, please continue to post such quality shots!

GO!

E-30, 50-200 and a ridiculous crop. This event (about 2000 of these birds moving from one spot to another spot about 300 feet away) took about 1.5 minutes. It was awesome, man I wish I was closer.

This cat and I are actually mortal enemies - he comes to my yard and poops in it and eats birds that I'm trying to feed / photograph, and I throw whatever it is I have handy within arm's reach at him every time he does.

Just got my GF-1 and must say I'm quite impressed (and I normally use a 5d2). The 20mm f/1.7 really is a nice little lens....

Landing - Wanted more ducks to test AF-C but this one had to do. Series of 8 shots using AF-C on the 50-200 SWD and nailed almost every one of them (heavy crop). I was worried about AF-C performance (not that it's vital to me, but it's nice to have something that mostly works).

Green Plant - I love my Nikon, but this is something I could never seem to get satisfactorily for me - greens. I have no idea why, something irked me about them (maybe magenta casts) - I've seen D7000 shots compared to D700/D300/D90 in AWB and seems the D7000 might be solving the cast problem. Oh well, I'm an Olympian now
