I just got my Nikon 17-35 f2.8 back from repairs at KEH. Larger photos of the lens and a few sample shots on my D700 are up here (they are not great photos, I just walked down my street). These are all straight out of camera JPEGs. The last four photos were taken at f2.8.
As I said in my original ad, this lens was in very rough mechanical shape when I bought it, the focus and zoom rings needed work and the AF-S motor had to be replaced. KEH did a total overhaul and their work carries a 6 month warranty. The exterior body of the lens shows some wear; the biggest mark is a scratch on the body near the gold ring (see photos). The glass is in good shape with no major defects and definitely nothing that would affect image quality. However, there may be some very light marks on the glass if you put it under a microscope.
Everything on the lens is now in good working order, but please be aware that this was a used lens and it is priced accordingly. It comes with front and rear lens caps, a hood, and nothing else. The caps and hood are all brand new. The lens has a US serial number.
SOLD Price is $900 shipped and Paypal'ed in CONUS. PM me if you want it.
I'll offer a 3 day inspection period - if you receive the lens and it's not as described, let me know within 3 days and you can return for a refund (less shipping).
