Phil - good ones!
Katie - I agree with Phil - the cat and the next image after it of your son. No need to worry about spamming the thread. It's good someone is keeping it moving.
Here are some from Lake Huron a few days ago:
Basically the same scene/view with different lenses on the M240: 90 Summarit, 50 Lux ASPH and 28 Cron. Kinda wish I had my Canon and 90 TS-E along too, as some of the 90mm shots, even at f/16, were very limited in depth of field..
While processing these, as with the M9, the 28 Cron definitely has a unique/different character compared to my other Leica lenses. It's about a half stop darker, stronger vignetting, even when stopped down, bolder colour too. But I agree that it has a different look/feel when shot on the M240 vs. M9. My guess is it has a lot to do with Leica's flatter out of camera profiling for the M240 and perhaps the profile for the 28 Cron attempts to tame its bolder character and bring it more in line with other Leica glass.
Adam - I guess buying another camera is one solution to Leica's terrible service turnaround. It's partially a motivating factor for me getting the M240 after my M9 was acting up this winter.
