Uhoh - how lucky can you be? Wow! Glad to hear you got the mag back safely. I, too, wish to be that active at that age. Great shots.

Nicoimages - gorgeous shots on this page! Like them ALL.

Zhangyue - lovely shots and I would probably get rid of the branch.

We had an ice storm here last night. What is called thundersleet. Severe thunderstorms and below freezing temps; needless to say, it was quite a mess around here today. STopped by the courthouse and grabbed a few shots (M-E and CV 21 1.8)

Thanks Charlie, Edward, Michael, hanexp, Charles

Charlie, glad you found your magnifier and an excellent set with the experienced skier!
Michael, breathtaking scenes from China!
Katie, enjoying your recent family pics and also this last set with the CV21/1.8!

It's been a long time since I have cracked a bottle of Duckhorn! Certainly worthy of several "likes" for the subject matter as well as the tasty photo where the tonality recall the flavor profile of the wine.

That bottle of 2011 Duckhorn Merlot was excellent, definitely worth trying.

Here's a repost from last year, hope you all don't mind. Wine buffs (or even non wine buffs) should give this one a try at least once. RP gave it 99+ for 2008 vintage. Again, Monochrom works great in this type of environment: low light social events and it doesn't look out of place in a vintage cellar

Zhangyue, nice colors and atmosphere, and interesting format. Really like this set.

Nico, excellent work with the Planar. I wanted to say this is b/w material, but in fact, they work even better in color.

Joe, very nice composition, but I'm still waiting for a selfie of you sipping the wine with the MM on your lap

I'm getting addicted to it.

The zi 21 zeiss finder showed up and it's unbelievable. The frankenfinder is perhaps more accurate on the exact frame, but the zeiss really sucks your eye into the shot. Very Very bright and big.

Thanks for the comments, likes. Much appreciated. Down with a strained back, so not moving around a lot and definitely not at the desk.

Ash: awesome shots of the volleyball players during sunset. Also loved the first one.
Katie: nice shots using the CV21. Any particular film type processing done the images? Nice house.
Charlie: loved the first shot of 'going to work'. Must not feel like work to begin with, i guess. that 21SEM looks more and more interesting.
leonas: That second shot of the bobcat has distinct 3Dness to it as well as the first shot. Since there was no PP involved, was it auto WB?
Joe: nice one with the MM. perfect subject too.
Michael: wonderful, atmospheric shots of the mountains. Amazing sense of the location. I'd clone out the branches that you mention. Its easier to do it in PS. The 'content aware' fill works well most of the time. For web size images, the smaller errors can be neglected. If you want to print big, then a meticulous effort with the stamp tool in PS would be worth it.
Nico: love the processing you do and it fits the subjects really well. Great work.
Edward: Based on your comment on previous page, yes, it is an interesting country. I've traveled very less myself and I'm just beginning to explore it.

Thank you for the comments and likes, especially thank you for the suggestion about process to clone out the branch, I have PS5 on my computer, but almost never use it I shoot too much, but not take time to learn some basic stuff in PS

Here are two back to US stuff, spring is here:

50cron Rigid f2 or f2.8 M9 I shoot about 10 frame, end up maybe only 2 usable due to flare

leonasj - good example of the 35 Lux 'look' in those first two images. Great pop. To my eye however, the trees look a little 'jittery', I've seen this before with the 35 Lux and it stops me from falling in love with the lens which in all other aspects is excellent.

Have you compared you FLE to the non-FLE? Any thoughts?

Michael, loved the rendering in the first shot.
leonas, thanks for confirming the WB.
Joakim, That is a crisp shot. Wonder how it would look in color.

Few taken with a friend's 35cron v1 and processed with VSCO LR4 toolkit Kodak tone.
This is a serious lens with stunning detail and sharpness. Flares very easily and gives a pale look but once it has the hood on, the detail is amazing. Experimenting with frames for the photos.

Manoj - LOVELY shots. I used the same processing on mine VSCO; although I think it was Velvia -- tweaked a bit. Just got 05 and need to play with those some more...
