rsolti13:
Very very nice monochrom shots. Are these all with 50lux?
BTW - you have a very cute subject/model, seemingly always willing and cheerful

Thank for the comments and likes, Phil, Charles, Edward, Joakim, Jawad

Charles, 75Lux portrait is excellent. Haven't seen you using this lens much lately
Joakim, excellent set on p.811, especially like the leaves with 50Lux ASPH on #1 and 90 Elmarit on #4.
Phil, congrats on yet another acquisition with the 90 Elmarit! Very nice!
Mike Toumey, excellent set with the musicians, I like the deep rich B&W tonality on these.
Gary, can't put away the 21SEM? Beautiful pano on your hike!
Jud73, nice shots from Hawaii, #4 & 5 are my favorites.
Ryan, beautiful cheerleader you have there! Also, the 5th pic with the door on Mono is excellent!
leonasj, very nice set, #3 is excellent!

Yes, I picked up a Nocti 0.95 on a trade with a most esteemed forum member, but the lens that interest me most last week was the Angénieux 90 /2.5 ltm. The lens does not belong to me, only had it for a very short periodf to test it out (its not for sale ) I really like it, except for the price. For those unfamiliar with Angénieux, they invented the retrofocus lens design in the 1950s. This was the lens I tried: http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/nikon/nikkoresources/RF-Nikkor/Leica_RF/Mix.htm

Thank you Jam and Joe
Joakim, nice set!
Ryan, very cool shot of your daughter. Love the B&W set with the Monchrom, particularly #2
Leonas, very nice images!
Joe, congrats on the Nocti 0.95 Wonderful shots with the Angénieux 90. Fascinating rendering!! Love the first shot. Yes the 75 Lux will be out of the closet shortly again. I think for street shots, I have the 50 Nocti f/1.0, and it is more universal without having to change lenses.

Joe!!! WOW Alex Webb, what an experience. Did he have a camera with him? I know he is a 35mm cron man but I wonder what body he is using now.

Nice work man!

Nice work man!

Thanks! Nope no camera on him. I think he switched to a M9 at least 1.5-2 years back after he ran out of Kodakchrome labs to process his color film. I asked him about lenses sometime back and he said almost always a 35Cron, an older one but I didn't ask which version. Not sure which lens he currently shoots but if you look at Magnum's postcard from America site, there are some 28 Elmarit EXIF info on his pictures. On the other hand Constantine Manos has all the new toys. He just received his M240s and some new lenses from Leica.

Summilux 75mm just arrived
This will be fun ...

Any ideas why the EXIF is not showing the focal length and aperture correctly?
(Never mind, the lens detection was on auto, seems it has to be entered manually)
