Joe - enjoying your S2 pics very much. Perhaps a little *too* much....
Luka - you really have to post more often! Your creativity and PP is second to none...
Edward - you are correct that the the files from the M240 appear more "flat" SOOC. I have found that I can process them to get pretty close to M9 output but that is really not what I am after. I happen to love the output from my D700 and enjoy the fact that the M240 is quite similar in many aspects. An aside note, I find the JPG

Thanks for the heads up. I'll update today.

Ok,

So first two pictures illustrate flare problems. First is obvious, and strange.. Second photo is more subtle, and I actually don't mind it. In the 5th photo, the seals not dead, he's just resting.
Oh and in the first shot, that's not sensor dust.. Those are birds, if you zoom in, you can see them!

All shot with 50APO probably wide open from SF-LA

Thank you Phil, and for all the likes
Phil, very nice! The magic of the Nocti combined with M-M!
Allen, superb series!!! I love how you have taken the elements and put together a wonderful journal of the event.
Adam, really like how the 50 APO paints!

Shot from a baby shower with the M240, updated with the latest firmware with the 50 Cron Rigid DR at f/2.0 std WB The second shot is a B&W conversion in SEP II.

Great pictures everyone!

It wasn't a interesting day to take pictures, therefore just a two snapshots. There was already plenty of snow....

Minivans rock!

Allen superb series as Charles said, love the second to the last shot!

Adam glad it's a resting seal and not a dead one

So Charles congrats on being a grandfather, those old lens still rock on the newer machines! Great filmish look to these

Peter that first one is awesome, great composition Sir, plus it's B and W so it gets extra points

Thanks for comments and likes!

Ryan, great photos with the Monochrom. I am so tempted to get that camera.
Charles, great set from Bali and very nice portraits from the baby shower
Joe, I really like the photos from your S2.
Luka, great examples of the colours we're seeing here in Stockholm now
Phil, great way to reproduce those portraits.
Allen, a rodeo? Great set.
Adam, even if the second one is meant as an example of flare I find the composition interesting.

Here is something that would be described as fall colors by some M9 and 90 Elmarit

Charles, nice shots.. I also updated the firmware today as well, thanks to Gary.

Yes I'm ridiculously happy with the 50APO. The Noctilux is also growing on me. And I do love the Summilux.. Geeze, I'm gonna end up keeping all three 50mm lenses :0

airfrogusmc - I like the 4th shot the best. Second one is also a great moment.

joakim - Thanks, I liked the composition as well. It is a good example of flare though, as it's a big ghosty blob in the middle of the image. I'm excited to see everyone's fall pictures (well everyone who's not in Australia), your elmarit has a neat soft rendering.

Gary, those are great! BTW I haven't used an M8 in ages, loved how awfully quirky it was at the time. Wish I could find my old M8 images (most were shot with CV lenses).

This is my brother who lives in Cali BTW.

Allen - excellent set from the rodeo, like the first shot best

Peter - The first shot is excellent. Like the dreary look

Adam - love the signature of that APO Cron, the portrait of your brother and wife a few pages back have a great look to them. Very consistent

Michael - really like the shot of your daughter

Gary - nice shots with the M8, you find yourself taking it instead of the 240 in times that may not be 100% safe? Colors look great, you still remember to use filters? I know I would forget about that

Charles - shots from Ubud are very good. Like how you are using the 50 Cron. Very unique rendering, love how those old classic lens look

Michael - thanks again and I really like that second pic of your daughter. I tried to reprocessed them to see what the result would be. I'm fairly happy but pic #2 still needs some work. Some times I give myself a 5 minute PP limit.....
Charles - that bike shot is really neat. Makes me miss wandering the streets of Ubud... and Sanur...
Ryan - I sold the M8 a long time ago but actually should have kept it. Just don't want to collect too much gear. These pics were actually from 2011. Love the shots with the Mono!

rsolti13 - Thanks, I really like the lens. Wish I didn't, so I could sell it and make my bank account happy, but I like the lens. BTW, like both the mono images!

Charles - Third shots interesting, haven't been to Ubud yet.. I've spent time in Seminyak though.

zhangyue - You really know how to focus that 50 Lux... I like the second shot. Seriously, as I've said before focus puller skills
