Phil, excellent B&W image. I really like the tones to this shot
tthorne, awesome captures from France! I am now longing the 21 SEM
Mitch, very nice evening images, particularly #3.
Allen, love that shot!

Just received M240 this morning, and took my first shots midday! I thought I was recording RAW+Jpeg, but just Jpeg.

First impressions, is the ergonomics alone is worth upgrading to the M240 from the M9. Very nice feel, and the RF appears to more accurate too, as Adam had been suggesting. It is a worthy upgrade

First shots with M240 and 50 Nocti f/1.0 @f/2.8 and f/1.0 200 ISO, and unfortunately only Jpeg

Mitch, again nice shots, I much prefer the look you're getting now.
From your older post: I don't know anything about printing photos, I never do it. I usually leave that to whomever is hiring me to shoot for them. Sorry.

Wow, Charles, the photos rather do look similar to your M9 images, which is a good thing IMO.

Allen, great shot of two men

Charles, great to hear. I am curious as to how you find the files converted to b/w vs the Monochrom? The more I hear about the M the more interested I am getting

Edward, really like the second shot of the coulds

Thank you very much Ryan. Nice set with the Monochrom. Really like the 2nd shot because of the composition and the perfect moment.

Guys nice shots..

Charles looks exactly like your M9 files. But dare I say nicer... Nah, must be the good winter light. Can't actually be that the M240 produces good images

Edward, Great works! I fully enjoy all of them. A little explanation of the place will be helpful But, again, great images.

Thank you very much Zhangyue, Taylor!

It is Lebanon indeed. Sorry for not posting any explanations. All shots are in the mountains of northern Lebanon. One of my hobbies is to visit unknown old medieval churches, the one in the photos dates back to the crusades in the 12th century.

Zhangyue, beautiful shots, and the girl does look like dancing

Thank you Rocky, Edward, Hilmar, Adam, Ryan and Michael for your kind words and likes

Edward, wonderful shots! What an adventure exploring old medieval churches Have a fantastic journey.
Ryan, really love the B&W PP'ing with the M-M. Personally my M-M and M240 are very complimentary. So far the B&W conversions with M240 are great and very rich in tonality. The M-M is different, rich but very sharp, and of course wonderful high ISO ability.

Michael, that first shot is just amazing

The M240, I am finding richer in tone, easier to focus, and just love the 3" LCD...finally. The DNG files are very easy to PP too. Sure there are some WB issues, but nowhere near what I was expecting. The best part of the DNG files they feel very film like

Shot from this morning, M240 50 Nocti f/1.0 at f/4
