Some great product shots, Ron, of a great 21mm lens collection.

Look forward to your findings.

Weesin, For shots blow up highlight, convert them to BW is a way to save it. The leica's shadow recovery is really good. so better under than over exposure, especially for BW, the cases insensitive to color accuracy and noise.

Thanks for note. I can see your point. I am quite new to BW photo. Only start doing it after interested in RF photography due to the many BW RF photo posted. Getting to like it more.

Here is another one with 21 biogon at Qingdao. It is the best landscape lens I have right now. I have no complain what so ever, I am surprised with good WA lens can solve so many detail, the last time I have this feel is Nikon 14-24.

That's an amazing WA photo. I agree with what you said about this lens. I also have this lens (used previously on Ricoh GXR M). I have no experience with Leica 21mm lenses but I am amazed with the detail captured by this ZM lens.

Thanks.

Thanks for the comments!

Edward, I enjoyed your Lebanon photos.
Allen, nice street set.
Ron, I am looking forward to your comparison. I have an eye for the 21 Lux which seems like a spectacular lens but unfortunately the price is also spectacular.

One more from my previous excursion.

Michael, excellent shot from Qingdao, with the ZM 21!
Ron, congrats on the CV 21/1.8 Looking forward to your detailed review. Great comparison shots!! Really excellent product lighting
Edward, wonderful shots of Lebanon!! I notice there is a touch of magenta edging on the second last shot with the ZM 25/2.8. Yes more attention will need to be paid to the GF
Allen, love this street series! Excellent stuff
Joakim, beautiful time lapse shot of the stream!

Wstam, Joe, Joakim, Charles, many thanks for your nice comments!

Joe and Charles, yes, that is what my GF always accuses me of, to prefer the M9 to her The problem is, I'm not sure she's 100% joking

Charles, you're right about the magenta. The ZM 25 produces some color shift infrequently, but I don't bother to correct it, neither in camera, nor with cornerfix, unless it is very disturbing. You can see a hint in the 3rd shot as well, but in the second shot, I think it is the tree lights reflections on the pavement that is adding to the effect.

Allen, very strong set. My favourites are: 3, 6 and 7.

Joakim, that is a very beautiful shot. Love the silky water and the movement.

Edward, beyond the fact that you are part of a wonderful family, I see a NEX with kit zoom in use. Do you not share with your kin the importance of ultimate corner sharpness wide open and paper-thin DOF?

Thank you Philippe! In fact there are 2 more Nex cameras that you don't see in the picture, all bought on my recommendation

I like to keep an unfair advantage with my M9 and ZM lenses, so basically I have the monopoly on ultimate corner sharpness and paper-thin DOF

NEX is my recommendation whenever my friends and colleague seek advice. and some of them bought it as well.

I really enjoy your set here, WB is spot on. Sharpness, color and contrast are just right. You have a wonderful family.

Joakim, Nice lighting on the last one.
Wstam, Nice street captures, I feel the dynamic and seems everything is moving

+1 Excellent shots as well, Edward!

Joakim excellent "slo-mo" shot! Very nice.
