City flowers with M9 and 28 Summicron (notice the insanely ugly upper left corner of the second one)

Guys I hate to drop a negative comment in this thread, but does anyone have the contact information for higher-ups at Leica and can PM them to me? I've been having some serious issues with their service department.... I'll explain on PM if you can help, I don't want to derail the thread!

Love seeing the varied work you all post. Ryan you really have taken to the Q and I like seeing the diverse subject matter you cover with the 28mm focal length.

Alan I always like your compositions, the pop of the umbrella is great in this one against all that brick!

Great shots all, really interesting to see more of the (output from the) newer Leica models on show, it feels like a lot of new options have crept up in a short space of time.

I've been almost exclusively using film lately and have been on it to develop/scan but then lazy to publish, so sitting on a bit of a backlog for now.

My shots are no better/worse for the medium, a few more minor disasters perhaps , but I'm enjoying the process. Any GAS for another Monochrom only lasts until I open the fridge and see the stockpile of film inside!

This one's about the last shot I took with the M9

and a necessary cat shot, hp5+

Nice stuff everyone!

Edward, love thiose BW shots with singer!
Nico, wonderful stuff with the theater. I have to ask, do you often correct perspective PP?
Adam, 100s looks so creamy/dreamy...wow!
Ryan, nice set. Pigs are great

While in Moab I managed to turn a simple request for a graduation gift suggestion into a 4 day shoot in San Francisco. Wow!! SF is totally on fire! My funnest photography gig ever.

Luckily my benefactors knew all about navigating the city:

Also I had some free time and was ripping about to various points of interest by myself. Everywhere you look in that city from the airport to haight, you see interesting things

Also incredible was the weather, which was fresh but mostly blue and wispy white. Back home in Idaho it rained hard, and the airport only opened just in time for a 11pm return Sunday. Better lucky than good

the last year i lived in SF i think it rained 4 times total (though my apartment was encased in fog for months). i'm having difficulty adjusting to the idea that you need different kinds of cloths for different times of year now.

Relax, think of it in the same way you need lenses with different focal lengths and it'll be easier to handle. Although you will not need seven different winter jackets the same way you need seven different 50mm lenses.

Open the base plate before the film is fully rewound? Check.

Tickets to opening of new SFMOMA were obtained for me, and I proceeded to sack the establishment. It was packed to the rafters with quite a mix of visitors. 6 floors, each a labyrinth of mostly white rooms, no maps and no apps

Thanks, I'd love to say I 'shot for the sprockets' but the effect isn't nearly so successful on about 1/3rd of the roll!
I was just lucky to happen to be in a dimly lit indoor space when I made my faux pas.
I did get a few other keepers with more subtle leaks.

I also did the - now I know what it means when the developer turns brown (blank roll) and the - forget to change the ISO on camera back (needless 2 stop push). I am slowly but surely checking off the bases! Still no lens cap shots though at least.

An older shot with 75APO and HP5+
