OK, I will try this again. I realize this is a hard lens to sell. I have tried to sell it here, on eBay in auction, through a 3rd party and I think I found the best option since I am not sure what the value is...
I have posted this on eBay as a fixed price - (I know I priced it high) and I am accepting offers. Check it out and let me know. Please feel free to contact me directly with questions, due to countless fraudulent buyers, I will only sell to someone with feedback here or on eBay (FB here is prefered)
If someone were interested here(off of eBay), we could start the conversation at $3400 shipped paid with eCheck. Or a deal that's in that range...

Just for grins, I sold one one time, here at FM, and it only took a week, and actually sold it for a $300 profit. I guess it all depends on what you paid and what you are trying to get for it, as 99.9% of sales.

How about my 15 yr old son. 6'1' 195 hard worker but is eating me out of house and home...maybe he wouldn't eat the lens......free bump for an attempted joke on my part.
Good luck with the sale of a sswweeeeeeet lens.

Of course, it sells and now that buyer says that PP won't clear such a large payment for him... Seriously?!?!?
I had this happen when I bought the new 70-200 off eBay. The problem was that the Mastercard stopped it as a suspicious charge. I called them up and they then approved it. It subsequently went through no problem via PayPal. In the end, it was not PayPal, per se, that was the problem. I have a sneaky suspicion that this is going to probably happen to everybody nowadays because the credit card folks have upped their surveillance of online fraud, etc., so it may worth contacting that previous buyer again.
