Gregg, LtZ, and saph -- Thank you all for the comments and the likes.

LtZ -- Your timing is impeccable as always. I'm glad you left the last photo in color as I like how green lights were reflected on the trees.

leonasj -- Great details on the R280/4 APO shot. I noticed a slight green hue on the WB especially on the sky on your last shot. The shot before was fine.

crazy shot -- Your orchid shots are awesome!

saph -- Your "WinterOlympics" shot is fantastic... nicely titled. Squirrels are so resourceful!

robin shot -- Your landscape shot of Maori Bay is excellent. Please post more...

ocean -- Nice bird shot. Is it a falcon?

Jako -- Awesome series from Old Havana. My favorite is from page 278 with the 28 Elmarit (Sky Reflection).

Gregg -- Love all your bw shots with the cron 35. The shot with the windy road canopy of trees is my favorite.

Here are a few from yesterday. Chinese New Year celebration in downtown Los Angeles. All with the 50 Lux.

Thanks for looking...

Went out and found myself a Contax 28 2.8 since I've been jonesing so much after looking at Jack's photos taken with his 28 Cron Ver ll...I think I'll like it! Supposed to be one of the best 28's out there!
Here is a barely processed shot with the 50 Lux.
Gregg

shot at f2...this lens is even sharper at f2 than the Nikon 50 1.2 AIs I had a couple years ago!!

I reallly like the two images above with the 28 Vll, Novelscout! I really do want one(Vll), but I'm going to settle for my C/Y 28 2.8 that I just picked up..
Very nice image above, LtZ..I feel like I'm actually standing in front of the sign!
Couple with the 50 Lux from today.
Thanks for looking,
Gregg

Gregg -- Congrats on the 28mm Distagon. It was my first Zeiss lens ever... a mighty fine one. Don't abandon us, you hear... :

LtZ --"Street Art" reminds me of Hercule Poirot. Your latest shot from Montmartre is also very nice. I was immediately drawn to the poster of the lady. I was browsing the entire thread the other day and I've to say the "passage du perron" from page 247 is my all time favorite so far -- gentleman with the umbrella, semi hidden sign, composition, good stuff...

novelscout -- Welcome. Nice shots with the 28 Elmarit v2.

A couple with the 50 lux...

Thanks Kokusai...I think I like this version better than the ZE 28 that I had....fantastic images, and small, too!
I sold the ZE to fund something else because I thought the 28 competed too much with my Sigma 35...And now I think I'm finding that I'm more of a 28/50 kinda guy, with a 90 Cron, too(I have on the way as we speak!!)!! So i will gladly shoot the C/Y ALL day long!
Love the architectural shots above...what fantastic lines!!
Here are a few 50 Lux shots, all wide open
Thanks for looking,
Gregg

Hey Kokusai, I did not realize but you are right about Hercule Poirot -)
I am impressed that you identified the Passage du Perron since the sign is unreadable and it is not a very touristy place.... well done! Do you know Paris?
Nice shots from you above. What is this building? It looks like the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao -)

Thanks Z -- No. I've never been to Paris but my wife and I are planning a trip next summer when the kids are bigger. I can't wait to visit your beautiful city. The building is called the Walt Disney Concert Hall located in downtown Los Angeles. It was designed by the architect, Frank Gehry, who also designed the marvelous Guggenheim museum in Bilbao and the Cinémathèque Française in Paris. When you are there the next time, be sure to take some photos and share them with us. I also posted additional shots of the building in the Contax N thread (Page 70 & 71).

Gregg -- Love your first shot. Congrats on the 90 cron. Me too. I'm a happy camper with the 28/50/90 combo for most occasions.

A few more from the CNY celebration over the weekend. All with the 50 lux...

Kokusai...are you lux shots on an A7? Is it an E55 or E60? How is the balance of the lens on the A7?
I really want to rent/buy an A7...here pretty soon. Maybe when taxes are done!!
Very nice shots above!

Gregg -- Yes. The E55 lux shots were taken using the A7 + metabones R to E mount adapter. I think moving forward we should all catalog our future posts with correct lens version for the sake of other posters and visitors like Almass had mentioned in one of the earlier posts. As for handling, I love all the R lens on the A7 + battery grip. The battery grip stays on the A7 since day one.

Here's a bw shot with the E55 lux. I like the intricate texture and details of this building. Hope you like it too...
