All I know is that I wanted the N for the AF, no hands on report though. As a lens nerd you have to get both, Wayne.
The Contax sold within a couple of days to a buyer who already posted a fine image here, but I am not going to say who it is. :-). It is quite normal that people who buy this stuff ask a couple of questions before they throw the money after you.
You guys are good...I just took a dremel to my 5D a few days back to get my 18mm to clear the mirror. I never thought I would do such a thing, being content with my Leica R glass. However, more staring prompted a trip to the store and then a little sanding. Haha.
I'll be back to post some shots shortly. Atleast when I get something I am "somewhat" satisfied with.
