I'm looking to upgrade from my current camera (a 10D), and am looking at two different used setups. One is a 50D with a vertical grip for $925.00 The second is a 1DmkII for the same price. Both cameras are in like new working condition. I shoot a variety of subjects from nature, sports, and portraits. The 10D is my first digital and has served me well, but I'm outgrowing it's capabilities. Any thoughts on these two cameras and the advantages/disadvantages of either? Thsnks for looking...
1D MK II is way better than any othe non 1D camera. lol
The 50D is nice, if you want the most stunning images though, go for the 1D series.
I just sold my 1D MK II N and almost regret it. lol
I'm looking to buy a 1Ds II to replace it.
The only reason for me to upgrade is I want a bigger FF sensor for enlargements.
However, I will have to budget a 1D MK II N or 1D III for next season when I do Sports photos in the summer.
