As some of you know I am real tired of all the snow we have been getting and if it is not snow...rain. So I headed south to Las Cruces..here are a couple of shots of there Organ mountains.
Beautiful light and long shadows in these. Love the soft color too. Perhaps the last two need something more in the FG to catch the eye and go into the scenes. Not so for the first, which stands out for me. A fine rockscape.
The color in the last 2 is especially nice, but overall I think I prefer the first. The lack of many distinct shadows gives it a unique 2 dimensional quality that works unusally well for this one. Nice work!

Lovely set here. Really love the beautiful soft light you captured. I am particularly taken with the subtle color contrasts between rocks and sky in the 1st, as well as the layers of colors and textures in the 3rd.

Thanks Barry...I appreciate your thoughts...never made it to the sands this time...I think it was the first time going that far and did not visit my favorite place.
Enjoy that snow..always more to come if it is coming from this direction.
