Finally got around to using my new 135/2 today. I wasn't a big fan of the 135L mostly because of the focal length being weird for me. This lens is so phenomenal to use that the FL hasn't been a huge problem. The framing is still narrower than I expect coming from using an 85L as my primary portrait lens for almost 2 years now but it makes for a better street photography lens that way.
Leica M Typ 240 with Zeiss 25/2.8 ZM and Zeiss C 35/2,8 ZM - attached a very cheap close-up lens for the orange bike handlebar image. No additional sharpening or output sharpening has been added in post production just the Lightroom default - the zeiss lenses are that sharp almost too sharp sometimes.
^Your work is amazing Nicholas; both on your Flickr page and Portfolio site. I love the shots you've posted here; the second one is just superb in the way you've framed the reflections.
Hello
These are photo's my wife and I took Saturday in Leland MI. It's a phenomenon that happens when the conditions are just right, and this year has been great to form these structures. All taken with a D700 and the Zeiss 21mm
These are on the lake Michigan shoreline.
Really lovely shots Mataz. I grew up in Northern Michigan and have even been to Leland a few times. I never heard about these formations, however. They make quite interesting subjects. I like how the first one almost looks like a face.
Hi all. Just picked up my first Zeiss lens, the 135mm T* f2 APO Sonnar for use on my Nikon D800E. Still coming to terms with manual focusing such a wide aperture lens, although not unfamiliar with MF as I did shoot with Pentax DSLRs and a few of the old manual focus A and A* series f1.4 lenses that they have. It's tough getting that focus right!

I've not posted much of late but I'm still checking and giving out the Likes
We were in Valencia (Spain) over Xmas / New Year for family celebrations and our in-laws 60th birthday party. Wonderful city - really gorgeous, these are the first shots processed from there and are of the Central Market - one of my favourite places in the city
Thanks Jschoen, mogud, and Ronny for the nice comments.
This is a photograph of an old DC3 that sits atop the Roasterie Coffee Shop in Kansas City. [ Full disclosure: The long exposure sky is a replacement sky. ]
what a page (last page)!
Steve, wonderful hands closeup!
Very nice series from kezeka, Hexonxonx, nicoimages (I especially like the first and last two),
darbo, the multiple exposure is very well done!
Mataz426, intersting formations and capture with the 21.
Lance B, seems you are doing very well with focusing, I love every single shot you posted.
Frogfish, another wow-series from Valencia.
David and Ronny, also two very nice shots
