Rodluvan, awesome photos. The subtle isolation of the couple in the first with the 35/1.4 is phenomenal. As a user of that lens, I know how challenging it is (for me at least) to nail one with the subject at that distance. The second is excellent too.

Great shots Ronny. It looks like you don't let your new Zeiss 1.4/85 rest at all

One from this afternoon and its larger version.

Great stuff Johnny, I especially like your third shot . Ronny love the wedding pics, both shots are extremely good!

I've just got my monitor calibrated and recently worked on this pic. It looks fine on the calibrated monitor but it looks very dark and contrasty on my brother's mac. Would anyone care to comment if it looks too dark or contrasty on their monitor?

50MP

Looks wonderful on my Cinema Display ... lots of POP. It's near impossible calibrating for the internet because there are so many variables ... everyones monitor and browser are all different. Calibrating for print and calibrating a Plasma for watching movies is easier as there aren't other viewers involved.

Thanks ... it does seem like a cracker of a lens and a decent price as well.

Nice shot, BTW

Wow ... that last shot with the 85P is pretty incredible ... very nice separation. This must be an example of the famous Zeiss 3D look .. and why I bought a Zeiss lens

Excellent shot.

Martynas, nice B&W work from Røros.

Rod, really nice wedding pictures.

I was on business workshop at Levi, Finland, and luckily the schedule was organised so that we had free time during the days. There were some hiking trails made to snow (they have made the "path" hard by driving the path with skidoo) and forest was very nice looking. Unfortunately I only had 1.4/50 Planar with me, since I was not sure how much there is time to shoot if any. Let's start with opposite ends of aperture scale; I rarely shoot aperture larger than f/2.8 or aperture smaller than f/11.

Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50 @ f/2.8, 1/1000s, ISO 100 - larger

Carl Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50 @ f/11, 1/200s, ISO 100

Ronny, light shot is excellent. Great colors, perspective, and flow. Never in a million years would have guessed it was the 21.

High quality work here as always! I haven't visited this thread in a while since I sold my only lens (ZE 35/1.4). However, now I have ZE 21/2.8 and brought it to Lofoten in northern Norway. I'm pleased with the lens, but not so much with the old sensor in 5D after have used Sony RX1 for a while...

Thank you both! Yes, Lofoten is amazing. We visited in summer a few years ago, but it's even more beautiful in winter.

Ronny, nice shots but I don't think you'll ever top that photo from a couple weeks ago with your dog in mid air jumping over the log.

great stuff Helena. The wave front makes it look like a very dramatic ridge casting a shadow into a pit of water waiting to devour the village. Exceptional really.
One bother though, how did you decide on the crop? Was it to exclude something that ended up in the frame?

Thank you Rirakuma!

Ronny, thank you! Great series of your dog as always! He is quite scary looking in the first one. I have no idea how you manage to MF these kind of photos so well.

Rodluvan, thanks for the feedback! It's a panorama from two quick shots (we had parked the car somewhat "illegally" so I had to be quick) and when I stitched them the top of the mountain was chopped off, so I have to crop quite a bit at the sides.
