Went out very early this morning to try my new toy - 50MP

Had problems with blur as my 1kg Feisol tripod battled with the gusty wind, gonna need something heavier for the windy days.

Does the Feisol have a hook underneath where you could hang something?

It does, but what's to say the wind won't blow the bag and introduce more shake/vibration?
I do have an old alu gitzo that weighs in at 2.7kg and the wind would need to be gale force to budge that beast.
Lugging it around can be a chore though.

It is a much lower frequency vibration, which you can quell by letting your leg bump against it where it wants to blow to. With a light but rigid tripod this can work well. You can also gently push down on the top platform of the tripod if you are not making very long exposures.

Interesting, when you have that much space to work with, and perspective distortion isn't noticeable, then the 21 Distagon actually renders similar to the 35/1.4 Distagon, at least in that last shot. Very nice!

Jako, great colors and composition.

Nibutto, lovely conversions. Ironically, my favorite shot of your set is the one predominantly featuring the chairs (image 5). The texture in them is amazing with the conversion. They upstage the seemingly more grand buildings.

Taz_k, last two are spectacular.

Great shot, Rob. The water looks like it is made of glass.
