John - great architectural shot!
Nibutto - Nice series. Love that bokeh!

akul inspired me to go out and shoot with the 35/1.4 wide open. His shot of NYC newspaper boxes also inspired me to shoot the Minneapolis version!

nibutto, Great shots from the station, looks like a cool place.

Here's a familiar landmark, shot against the rising sun so had to take 4 images and merge them in photomatix.

wow Bob - that 35 really has a 3D effect - in that second one the hand is coming out of the monitor.

Very nice, Ronny, but I have to say that the sharpening on the second image is too aggressive for my taste.

I've gone through hundreds of pages of this thread over the years. I have to break it to you guys, the quality of the photography here is NOT due solely to the glass. I bet many of you could produce wonderful results with far inferior equipment. This thread is the best on the forum.

Of course, it has got me interested in Zeiss glass! I hope that 21mm f/2.8 or 25mm f/2 will be added to my lens collection in the next few years!

Dodged a storm and shot La Jolla tide pool with friend Peter Tellone ( http://petertellone.com/ ) last night. The storm brought us some gorgeous clouds and colors. Over the course of an hour or two, it felt like we shot a whole rainbow.
