This thread is so long, I tend to work from the latest page backwards. Thus I saw Akul's shot and said, "Mammoth!" before seeing on the previous page that he said where the shots are from. We just got back from Yellowstone and the Grand Teton.
Here's one of mine from the Grand Prismatic Springs.
ucphotog - Yes, Mammoth, it was. Yellow stone was amazing, but I only had one day. I really would love to spend a week or two at least !! Hopefully next time. Beautiful shot ! I must see Grand Prismatic Springs next time. Aside from the amazing setup, color of sulfur and reflection is just gorgeous.

We spent 8 days (10 including the travel day at each end) in Yellowstone and the Grant Tetons. Basically 5 and 3. I don't think I would want to spend less. I can't imagine just spending just one day. I hope you get your two weeks there someday!
