twoeye- A fine set with 21. Love the light and composition. Great perspective on the #2. I was near by a similar setup this weekend, and I really wanted to shoot it but could not get to it.

Jochenb - good dog potrait, I think the low-key simpification works quite well here with just enough details in the darks to outline the shape of the body. Beautiful eyes!

Regarding the 2.8/21 I find it a pleasure to work with, giving lots of detail, clarity and really good colours. But I find the focal length challenging, having used the 35mm as my work horse for some time. The wide field of view takes in a lot, which very often makes compostions difficult. Also, I find myself trying to keep verticals straight which I think I have to let go of working with this lens.

Your feeling about the 21 is the same as mine. 21mm can indeed be challenging and I'm also looking at the verticals all the time. I guess that's because I also had the TS-E24II in the past.
