I looked at the CC but have concerns about how quickly and securely you can get bodies in and out of the holster(s).
Last season I used a Black Rapid R strap and all I had to do was place my hand on the body and raise it to my eye and then pretty much drop it when finished and it fell back into place by my hip. So very fast and totally safe.
With CC you need to pull it up out of the holster and then guide it back in when finished, plus twist it into place. So a couple more steps and that takes time.
An additional concern I have with the CC is having no strap on my bodies .. if I get knocked and the camera comes loose, or if I miss the holster when finished then everything pretty much ends up on the ground. With Black Rapid you can lose your grip and everything is still secure.
So this season I'll be rockin the Black Rapid double strap .. yee haw, draw pardner!
But whatever your choice it's good times for photographers necks .. only two years ago I was using two plain old neck straps around my neck .. and at the end of the day I knew it. Now there are several quality choices for carrying camera bodies.
I have both the CC and the Black Rapid strap. The CC is terrific, the Black Rapid can't even begin to compare.
The CC is very easy to use, very easy to mount and dismount, and the cameras don't swing around. One application I use it for is for shooting alpine skiing and it works fantastically well for that. It also carries the camera in a very comfortable way. Hiking, biking, walking - pretty much any activity this thing is just great.
The Black Rapid strap, on the other hand, is IMO, a piece of junk. The cameras swing around, hit things, and the early versions the camera could easily become disconnected. I would definitely not trust to just let the camera "drop."
They fixed the fasteners but you had to buy the improved fasteners - ridiculously poor regards for their customers. Of of my 40D, I've lost two eyepieces with this infernal strap because the swinging camera just seems prone to pick them off. On top of that, if you have to move around in a more aggressive way than walking on flat ground, they do not do a great job of stabilizing the camera (in fact they swing all over - try running without holding it in place for example). Finally, I found that they got to be as fatiguing as a regular camera strap. My favorite camera strap that works as well as or better than the Black Rapid should is the UpStrap.
