Now that's what I call starting early.

I really like it but the flowerpot in the background is a little disturbing.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

Thanks Yakim. I agree with you. Wish I had skills to remove it in post, and the hotel staff (shot this at a wedding) wouldn't let me remove it in "pre". Erik.

Well, in that regard I'm just like you. All I do in PP is sharpen. Seldom do I crop or change exposure.

Happy shooting,
Yakim.

I love this shot. Nice conversion. If you don't like the plant--it doesn't really bother me--you could always blur it or lighten it behind the main subject using layers in PS.

Thanks Chad. I must confess, I have never used PS, but that's next on my (growing) list of stuff to learn. Erik.

Fantastic shot! I love the composition and perspective of this image, and the motion. Don't worry about the pot, it's not really that obvious. Great conversion too.

Best of luck

Andy

Hey, cute kid and great result. You'll have to hope she keeps at it in the future.

The pic does appear to be leaning quite a bit left judging by the window frame lines but I'll take that aa a bit of artistic license.

Best.

Image has somewhat of a circular or fisheye appearance, but a very nice shot indeed. Good luck.

Best Regards,
Kurt

It's a great picture of a flower pot, but some kid playing the piano is in the way.

Great shot and I'm votin' for it.

Bill - Good eye. I would like to say it is artistic license, but I won't.
Kurt - I know what you mean - I think that's just the nature of the reflection on the grain of the piano or something. Don't think I've seen that before on other shots with that lens.
Dave - What can I say? Every time I tried to shoot the freaking pot, my kid sat down at the piano and tried to play something. Kids...

Erik.
